Don't rock the boat!

Three intrepid ladies boarded the Sabrina 5 barge, moored next to the National Waterways Museum in Gloucester Docks. All complete beginners at needlefelting. We

started the course with a little experimentation, felting faces - this they enjoyed so much I more or less had to wrest the wool and needles from them and suggest we get on with their projects for the day!

All three had chosen to make hares and I demonstrated making a wire armature frame for a hare and then gave everyone their own wire to make their own frames. The day passed quickly, as they always do when you are having fun, we stopped only for lunch and the occasional cuppa.

We took a class shot at the end, with the three hares - didn't they do well?!

A whale of a time by the canal

For our needlefelt course today we had a beautiful view by the side of the Saltisford Canal in Warwick. It was a balmy, sunshine filled day so we had the doors wide open and even lunched outdoors .
